Kobi Simmons was the top scorer in the whole world yesterday having an unbelievable 35 points in his last game in the Gigantes

35 points scored by 28 year old American guard Kobi Simmons (196-G-1997, college: Arizona) resulted in being the highest scoring player of the day in the world. His team the Gigantes beat the Cangrejeros 102 to 95. On top of that he also recorded 7 assists that evening. He is the 4th best scorer in the league averaging over 20 points and almost 5 assists per game. As you can see the league is dominated by ex-college players where 6 out of 10 best scorers graduated the US schools.
He is quite experienced player. Simmons has played in six different countries on three different continents. He has played previously professionally in China, Israel, Poland (Stal), NBA Summer League (Charlotte Hornets and Portland Trail Blazers), and NBA G League (Cleveland Charge, Greensboro Swarm and Raptors 905 Mississauga).
His team won the Polish Cup in 2022.
He was also awarded Player of the Week in the Puerto Rican League.
